Grandma Dille

We visited Grandma & Grandpa last night. It was good for the girls to be able to see her, they have been worried about her since her surgery.

We Love you Grandma!

E=mc2

Bradee had to give a report from an autobiography today. Since she's 100% into science, she picked to report on Albert Einstein. They also had to dress up as their character. Here's what she looked like this morning and a picture of the real thing.
Here's a full body shot complete with her "lab coat" and mismatched socks (Did you know that Einstein never wore matching socks? - Learn something new everday!)

Whirlwind Weekend!

Weekend???? What weekend???? We were so busy this weekend, we hardly got a chance to breath let alone REST! Here's what we did......
Friday after running errands and scraping ice off the driveway, Andrea and the girls got to go pickup Dave at the 21st Street Chevron.....Why, you ask?!?! Well, this is what his tire looked like after driving over who-knows-what on the freeway.....
Marlee was begging to go through the car wash so we decided to do that and then didn't have time to take care of the tire right away as we had plans for a double date with the Dee's. Here's carwash pictures for your veiwing pleasure (ps bradee's "wig" is a long story - I just hope it reminds everyone of Albert Einstein - ya right!)

We dropped the girls off at Aunt Tammy and Uncle Mark's house for a night of fun (we love Mark & Tammy & kids! thanks again!)
We then went to Rumbi Island Grill (oh YUM!), swung by Costco and then headed to the movie VANTAGE POINT - Awesome movie! I would definately recommend it!
Here is me and Jenny with McDreamy

And I had to get a picture of Brian - but he was not cooperating - so this is what you get stuck with......
Got everbody home around 12:15 that night (yep, after midnight - whoa!) And yet the girls were still up at 8:00 ready to go Saturday.........
We started with Ziploc Omelets (If you haven't tried this from Grandma Dall's email, you really should, it was rather fun!)
The girls and all the toppings
Loading up the bags
Everyone with their personalized omelets
And voila!!! A delicious easy breakfast!
Well enough sitting around making breakfast.....had to get on the road. We headed out and Dave changed his flat for his spare - don't he look cute in coveralls??? Then we had the pleasure of forking out $275 for new tires since you can't replace just one or two tires on an all wheel drive vehicle! (so the tire store says - i think we're just suckers!)
Then it was off to drop Kaycee at her friend Whitney C.'s birthday party. After picking Kaycee up and then taking her back since she "forgot" to give Whitney her birthday present, we headed out to drop off New Moon to Rachel since she's now addicted! (Told ya so!!!) Then it was off to Grandma Garrett's Birthday party -
Happy Birthday Grandma!
But, we could only hang out there for a few minutes because we had another Birthday party to go to - a SUPRISE 40th Party for my dear friend Cyndi I haven't seen in AGES (totally not exaggerating!)
Here she is totally shocked that her family pulled of a suprise party. (Her mom and dad were so sweet to drive down from Worland, WY to be there - oh and it was so fun to meet her siblings I've heard so much about).
Here's Dave being a master artist (you have to say that with an accent) during "All Things Cyndi Pictionary" (p.s. i had to draw a car running over a cat! - gotta love Cyndita Dorita!)
Cyndi and her flaming cake :)
Happy Birthday Girlfriend!
Then it was back to Grandma Garrett's for some more birthday fun, a quick trip through Wendy's drive thru and home and in bed by 10:30 p.m. (much better compared to Friday night!)

Sunday was just the normal stuff, but all of us felt like we'd been hit by a truck. Quick visit to the Arciaga's to cut some vinyl lettering (and say howdy to the sh**dog Lola - hee hee) Then into bed only 45 minutes late......
So now it's Monday and I'm wondering what happened to our nice "relaxing" weekend?!?!? Oh well, I guess we'll try again in T-Minus 5 days! Wish us luck :)

Business Lunch

So, as much as I hated it (ya right) I was FoRcEd to go to Maddox to discuss our fireworks plans for the 4th of July. After our delicious lunch (courtesy of Lantis Fireworks & Lasers) we made sure to snag a couple pictures of our adventure :)
Lindsay and her buffalo friend
Andrea and "The Lodge" Buffalo
Action shot - thanks Linny!
P.S. We're gonna have an AwEsOmE Fireworks show!
P.S.S. Camille C. - All those buffalo shots are for you :)

Shake and Bake.....

So this morning, Dave went to get the big girls up and going for school and Bradee makes this comment. "Kaycee bangs her headboard against her wall and it's shaking my bed!" Dave thought that was a little odd and didn't pay much attention to it. Then the news comes on and says there was an Earthquake this morning........Guess that would be a much better explanation to Bradee's bed shaking than Kaycee banging her headboard against her wall!

Go COUGARS!!!

Congratulations to BYU Men's Basketball for beating the UTES! Two years in a row!! Way to go guys!

The Glass Slipper

Saturday Night we went to see the play "The Glass Slipper" at Rodger's Memorial Playhouse in Centerville. It was very enjoyable and the girls had a great time. We went to Bajio before and were worried when the power went out, but all is well, 5 minutes later, it came back on and the show went on :)
At the playhouse
Kaylee & her friend, Jen & McKenna

Feelin' the LOVE

Childhood traditions die hard. We always have to have "cupid" drop some Valentine's on the porch for the girls since that was such a big part of mom and dad's childhoods! The darling pink heart purses are from Grandma Diane and Grandpa Dave. You can't really see what mom and dad gave the girls, but it was a coloring book, a t-shirt for St. Patty's Day, plus a few little treats. Jimmie & Kay (Andrea's boss & wife) gave the girls a cute card with $10 each to buy a treat. He was also nice enuf to give Dave and Andrea a Valentine ($50 to Maddox! Wahoo!) Grandma Elsa and Grandpa Dale gave the girls a treat bag with a cute Valentine's straw and a locket for each of the girls. They were so excited, now we just have to find some pictures small enough to put in them! The girls and mom cooked a nice pork chop dinner for dad and made a peanut butter dessert. Mom made an Oreo one for the girls and then they watched Happily N'Ever After. Talk about a sugar high! What a fun day.

Visitors

Jen stopped by my work today and brought her triplets. It was fun to get to see them for a few minutes :)
Brynlee, Easton & McKenna enjoying suckers from my candy dish

Happy Birthday Bradee!

On Bradee's actual birthday, we let her pick a place to have dinner and she chose the Greenery. (Actually she chose Olive Garden but decided she didn't want to wait an hour to eat, so Greenery was her 2nd choice).

Here she is cutting her yummy chocolate cake so she could share with her sisters. What a sweet girl!

Bradee's presents.....It's hard having kids get older since the "toys" get more and more expensive :P

Hannah Montana 3D

Happy Birthday to Bradee!!! Her birthday is today, so last night we went down to the Hannah Montana 3D movie at Jordan Commons. Bradee enjoyed a "hot dog sandwich" fries and a peanut butter cup shake. Kaycee got a personal pizza and a "big" drink. Annie got a superdallicious Taco Salad from Mayan Express (highly recommend it - yum!). The girls thought it was pretty cool that we could take food into the movies.

Here is everyone on rows 2&3 of the expedition on the way down - we had a car full!

Here we are in our cool glasses :)

Marlee wanted to join in on the glasses action - so here she is.......

The movie reminded us A LOT of being at the actual concert which we went to back in October, so I thought I'd include some pics from the SLC concert...... ENJOY!!!
